Heather Mairn Wins 2024 Supernova Award

The Supernova Award represents our company’s pinnacle in individual achievement. The award, chosen through anonymous voting of their peers, is presented to the standout team member of the year by our Executive Team during the Senior Living Communities Annual Meeting Memory Gala, a night dedicated to celebrating those who excel in their profession, foster a culture of compassionate professionalism and positive leadership, and put people first, always.

This year, we are proud to congratulate our Wellness Director, Heather Mairn, as the recipient of the 2024 The Stratford Supernova Award. As the Wellness Director, she is passionate about helping Members improve their health and well-being through exercise. Her classes are well-attended and tailored to individual needs. She takes pride in measuring and reporting her Members’ improvements and cheering them on throughout their journey.

Heather embarked on her journey at The Stratford eight years ago as a Wellness Associate. During this time, she pursued and obtained her Master’s in Gerontology, a testament to her dedication and thirst for knowledge. This academic achievement provided her with a deeper understanding of the population she serves. Stepping into the role of Wellness Director, she was given a blank canvas to create something entirely new. Heather’s personal growth and the bonds she has formed with the Members have made The Stratford her second home, a place where she feels valued and invested in.
