Living the Weller Life
– January 2021 –
12 Days of Christmas and Santa
Santa and Mrs. Claus heard that we had some Members on the nice list! National Charity League, Inc. Carmel Chapter donated some amazing gifts for our Members.
It was such a thoughtful gesture and a great way to kick off the holiday season.
Incorporating a variety of exercises into the daily lives of our Members is important to our wellness team. This ensures that they can maintain their independence and feel confident in themselves. Whether they are working in a balance class, strength workout, or walking on a treadmill. Our Wellness Team is there to support our Members in their goals to live out The Weller Life that is found at The Stratford!
Our Members enjoyed an afternoon game time with their neighbors this week. It was so nice to have this time bonding over a little friendly competition.
We proudly hosted our vaccine clinic last week for our 1st round of vaccinations last week! We’re so proud to be doing our part to keep our Members safe and stop the spread of the virus.
We’re on island time here at The Stratford! Our Members recently enjoyed a 1950’s themed Tiki Dinner and had a blast! Our Dining Services team created a delicious Mahi-Mahi dinner with specialty cocktails too! The live music brought the island vibes out! Who says you can’t enjoy a pina colada in January?
Working with resistance bands is the perfect way for our Members to start their day! These bands help build and strengthen a variety of muscle groups through resistance movements. This type of movement increases muscle mass and decreases the likelihood of muscle loss which can happen over time.
